Ray Covey, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
I was born with a hearing loss, which caused huge setbacks for me as a kid. I knew I wanted to help others who had problems hearing so they wouldn’t face the challenges with social isolation and with ineffective technology that I did. Therefore, I became a hearing aid specialist in July 1977. I enjoy working with people; my patients know that I have been where they are and can understand the frustrations that occur when we can’t hear conversations with our loved ones. I also enjoy building, programming and repairing hearing aids. In my spare time, you may find me performing as an Elvis impersonator for corporate events and charity fundraisers. My personal motto is, “Anything is possible!”
Janice Whitworth
Patient Services Coordinator
I have been in the hearing industry since 2009 and with NewSound since June 2011. I enjoy making people experience their family and friends again in the way of hearing. The smile they give to us when they hear the birds or their grandkids again — that is what makes me love my job. It is so much more than “just a job”, when you can make another person smile and be part of their world again by hearing.
